Introduction to the Principle Approach (8 tape set and handouts) [20-001] — $40.00
The first session discusses how the Principle Approach can meet the need for a change of view in education. The remainder presents a one-hour introduction to each of the seven principles.

Beginning home-schoolers need general information to get started. This workshop covers: legal issues, curriculum, teaching styles, socialization, grading, keeping records, going to college, and resources.
Teaching Literature [20-003] — $10.00
Studying a work of literature is an excellent way to teach Christian character. the student investigates the world-of view the author to evaluate its fruit. Researching the background helps understand the setting. The student records the literary elements in his notebook.
Teaching Writing Skills [20-004] — $10.00
This workshop offers suggestions for moms to teach original writing skills. There is discussion for incorporating writing into daily assignments and direction for developing writing skills. Handouts include grading suggestions and additional resources.
My Mommy is a Grammarian [20-005] — $10.00
Moms frequently express intimidation with teaching grammar. this lesson was designed to introduce terms are some of the technical aspects of grammar -- such as diagrams. Handouts include examples and resources.
Developing Your Own Units [20-006] — $10.00
Unit studies are the most exciting way to teach and beneficial when teaching several ages. Units may be developed around history periods, works of literature, or special interests. This workshop discusses developing effective units using familiar materials and library resources.
Record Keeping [20-007] — $10.00
Good Records are not a burden when the method is adjusted to individual needs and it becomes a daily habit. this class discusses when grading is necessary as well as offering samples for grading scales and evaluating essays or projects. It also covers records necessary to prepare a high school transcript.
Time Lines [20-008] — $10.00
This workshop discusses using time lines and other visual aids for enriching daily lessons. Time lines are useful for many purposes: showing cause and effect in history, tracing the plot in literature, and seeing individuals in proper perspective in God's plan.
